In an extraordinary interview about Whitney Houston, the promoter David Gest has laid the blame for her death squarely with her ex-husband.

He said simply that before she met him, Whitney didn't do drugs, was the last person anyone would have thought of would have done drugs, and wondered what she had ever seen in him.
